Freedom of Information requests

In order for the campaign to effectively oppose any traveller site plans it is imperative that we know exactly what it is that we are fighting. Information has been deliberately withheld from residents, as such we have no choice other than to submit several FOI request to the SMDC, as well as Staffordshire County Council and Staffs Police.  Details of which can be found below, personal details have been omitted.  Once we have received replies we should be in a much better position to draft technically accurate (in terms of planning regulations/green belt protection) and pertinent opposition letters. By considering green belt sites the SMDC are already in breach of their own planning regulations.

6th March FOI request to the SMDC (Locations, numbers, site & pitch sizes, GTA assessment, selection criteria)

11th March FOI request to the SMDC (Funding, budgets, compulsory purchase)

FOI request to the Staffordshire County Council regarding initial and ongoing site costs of county traveller site

FOI request to the SMDC regarding minutes of meetings & general communications

FOI request to Staffs Police regarding road traffic accidents on Uttoxeter Road

FOI request to Staffordshire County Council regarding road traffic accidents on Uttoxeter Road
